...the Old Crown Coaching Inn dating back to the 16th Century has been used for travelers through the ages and is a small and friendly family run traditional 'Olde Worlde' Inn we have twelve beautifully appointed rooms, three Superior rooms have been newly and sumptuously renovated for 2009 and are now fit for a King.

All rooms at the hotel are individually furnished to a very high standard with all the creature comforts that you would wish to make your stay relaxing. Each has its own en-suite facilities, together with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers. The Inn has wireless internet access for our business or leisure traveler.

To reach your room there is a cobbled courtyard , from which there is a fine example of an Elizabethan external staircase called the Judges Staircase. You can find out more on our history pages. If you are celebrating your wedding or a special occasion The Old Crown Inn have several possibilities for your honeymoon suite having a four poster bed or even two king sized double beds with an en suite and spa bath!
